Frequently Asked Questions
- In some cases, items shipped for exhibition purposes may qualify for duty exemption or reduced duties, especially if they are considered temporary imports. You’ll need to provide a carnet (an international customs document) or declare your shipment as exhibition materials to avoid paying full import duties.
- Our preferred method of shipping to exhibitions is via ATA Carnet, which works as a passport for freight. This makes the journey through customs smooth and ensures on time delivery to stand. When using an ATA carnet, the products that are shipped must have no commercial value (Not to be sold at any point during the show) and must be returned in their entirety.
- If you are looking to export or import your goods to/from and sell/buy products at the show site, we can assist you in creating all customs documents to ensure timely delivery to the show site/your premise.
Shipping costs depend on several factors:
- Weight and size of the shipment.
- Destination country and the shipping method (air, sea, or land).
- Value of goods (for insurance purposes and customs).
- Additional services: These could include customs brokerage, special handling, or storage fees.
- We require all documentation to be completed and sent back to us 7 working days before the requested delivery date of the shipment
- Collections begin 7 working days before the last day of the exhibition build up. If there is a preferred collection date, we will make sure we collect on the date requested or advise an alternative which works for both parties.
- Documentation is required to be handed to drivers when they collect, please ensure all documents are completed correctly and thoroughly before handing to the driver.
